My name is Dale Snyder; my wife is Dianna Kinworthy Snyder. We have been researching the Kinworthy and Bunyard families for some time. My wife's ancestor George W. Kinworthy married Mary Ann Bunyard, daughter of Samuel Bunyard and Elizabeth Holt on September 27, 1843 in Crawford Co.
I am new to Find A Grave and am doing some edits of both family memorials, but before I suggest any changes I thought it would be more appropriate to email you first. Samuel's mem. # 85608566 has a birth date of March 15 1792. Elizabeth's mem. # 85608660 indicates her first name is Sarah and middle name is Elizabeth.
In 1990 I finally found Kehner Cemetery and read both graves. At that time you couldn't even see that there was a cemetery there, all tall weeds. But I waded in and found the graves. Samuel's reads: Samuel Bunyard Died Mar 28, 1871 Aged 78 yr 5mo 13 d Servant of God well done Thy glourous (sic) warfare is holy The battle is fought The war is won Elizabeth's reads: Elizabeth S Bunyard Died Sep 12, 1876 Aged 71 yrs ?mo 1d
I couldn't read the months and by now, looking at your recent picture, I doubt anything can be read.
The concerns are Samuel's birth month. The memorial is March. If you do the calculations it is October. I see in your Pat's Place you do use October.
I think Elizabeth is the correct first name and Sarah is her middle name, unless you have info otherwise. From her stone we have a birth date c. 1805.
As I said, I am new to Find A Grave and didn't want to make any edits without your agreement and permission.
I will make the edits if you like but from the little I know of how this all works it may be easier for you, if you agree.
