Unverified: Anna Schoolcraft, wife of Simon Stone of North Stanbridge, Quebec lived in Caldwell's Manor just above the Vermont border and west of Missisquoi Bay until 1812.  On the 1851 Census her daughter Margaret gave the Manor as her place of birth in 1797.  The eldest son George gave his parents as Anna Schoolcraft and Simon Stone of Stanbridge.  They married in 1791 in Canada.
