Anka Serdar of Waukegan passed away peacefully at home on March 28, 2016. She was born in Sv Rok, Croatia to Dane and Bozica Vidakovic. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Dane, and infant grandson, Peter, along with her parents and two brothers. She leaves to cherish her loving husband of 64 years, Petar, and her children Pauline (Bill) Grgas, Madolyn (Jim) Willhite, Mary (Dave) Regenauer, Joseph (Nancy), Dane (Sue) and Frank (Jill) Serdar, 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Anka was a loving wife, mother, Baba and Great Baba and she will be greatly missed by her family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 2 to 5 pm at the Gurnee Salata Funeral Home, Gurnee. Funeral will be on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 10 am at St Dismas Church, 2600 Sunset Avenue, Waukegan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer or Leukemia Foundation or St. Dismas Church in her memory.20
