THERESA IRENE POTTER
A mass of Christina burial for Theresa Irene Potter was celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, 1995 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 116 Broadway, Rock Springs. The Rev. Fred Wendel of the SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church officiated. A scriptural rosary was celebrated at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9 at the Vase Funeral Chapel, 154 Elk St., in Rock Springs. Interment was in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, north of Rock Springs.
Mrs. Potter, 79, of 817 Ridge Ave., Rock Springs, died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, where she had been a patient since Feb. 3, 1995.
A resident of Rock Springs for most of her life, Mrs. Potter was in ill health for the past three months.
She was born Oct. 15, 1915 in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of the late Matt and Margaret Stajar Kruljac. Mrs. Potter attended schools in Springfield and married Clarence “Pinky” Potter in Rock Springs Aug. 22, 1936.
She was a member of the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence “Pinky” Potter of Rock Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph Joseph and Nadine Potter and John Robert and Mary Potter, all of Rock Springs; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Potter was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe and John Kruljac; and one sister, Mary Bonatto.
