Daniel passed away after a courageous 10 year battle with cancer, on Sunday at Lisaard House, at the age of 76.
Husband of Maria for 56 years. Also survived by his daughters, Margaret Vranic (Miro), Renata Snider (Robert) and Romy Silva (Tony). Grandfather of Mary Ernst (Cory), Adam Vranic (Melissa), Jesse and Lindsay Snider, Tim, Jamie and Stephanie Silva and great-grandfather of Talon and Alexandra Ernst.
Predeceased by his grandson Thomas Vranic.
Danijel's family received relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers at 8:45 p.m. Prayers were also offered at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 followed by a procession to St. Aloysius RC Church (11 Traynor Ave., Kitchener) for a funeral mass at 10 a.m. A reception followed the burial, in the reception room at the funeral home.
