Frederick Hann served in Continental Line, Captain Peebles company, from Northampton County during the Revolutionary war as a private. He, also, served in Captain Lewis Stachers or Stecker company of rangers and in the Militia Company of Captain Jacob Heller, 6 clas and 6th Battalion as a private. He was a member of the Plainfield Reformed Congregation.

ANNO 1794.
In this year the two elders, Philp Achenbach and Henry Happel, laid down their offices, and in their places as elders were elected "die bisherigen vorsteher" --the deacons, Diedrich Bauer and Frederick Hahn, and as deacons Abraham Heller and Philip Keller.
