Mrs. Marietta Hough Rhodes, 70 years old, died Wednesday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Charles Sethman at Smithton.
Mrs. Rhodes, born at Smithton the daughter of the late John and Rebecca Hildebrand Hough, resided in the Homestead district for many years. Since the death of her husband in 1932, Mrs. Rhodes made her home with a daughter, Mrs. H. F. Owens of 234 Woodlawn avenue, Munhall, where the funeral service was conducted this afternoon by Rev. Callahan, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, of which Mrs. Rhodes was a member. Burial was made in Homestead Cemetery.
Besides her daughter, Mrs. Owens and her sister, Mrs. Sethman, Mrs. Rhodes is survived by Mrs. J. N. Mealing, another daughter; Jennings G. Rhodes, a son; Mrs. Frances Kirkpatrick of Philadelphia and Mrs. J. S. Rhodes of Sharon, sisters; and five grandchildren.
