GEORGE TRIMBLE 1756-1814, served as private in Capt James Trimble’s 1st company Virginia Line. He was born in Augusta Co. VA and died in Bourbon Co, KY. Is this a son?George Trimble md Jane Armstrong - Descendants were Nathan Martin 1802-1873 md 1829 Sarah Trimble 1802-1863
Several people seem to have George here as the Son of a David Trimble & Mary Elizabeth Houston though...  But, of course, the names in the families are all darn near the same iterations, so It been a tough ride through.  (The above is from the Family Histories Daughters of the American Revolution book... and the 2 references to George both mention the tie to Capt. James.)
