Anna Lantz, who was a daughter of Bernard Lantz. Bernard was born in 1733. If Bernard was 18 when he was married, then Anna must have been born about 1752. I assume Martin was about the same age. They had several children, and one of them, John Life (B-5) was born in 1770. Bernard Lantz moved into what is now Highland Co. W. Virginia some time prior to 1766 as he took out land from the government in that year.
Bernard Lantz was thought to have been a son of a Bernard Lantz who came to this country in 1738.
Bernard Lantz, the father of Martin's wife, Anna died in 1786. In his will he gave the 160 acres of land to Martin Life (A) that he lived on then, in Highland Co. Va.
