JG. Greeson is her significant other
The JG, Joe Edward Greeson that you mention is my significant other of 27 years. We are rolling with laughter to find out we may be related through the Shinabarger line. We have no children together ( obviously because we were too old when we met!) I guess it's a good thing: More possibility of tails! Do you want me to give you permission for Joe's DNA also? He is fine with that.
His father's Greeson line came through the Carolinas in the 1700's and his mother's maternal line is Austrian/German, Von Knoblesdorf, and they immigrated to America around the early 1900's. So there could be either an American or European connection with the Shinabargers. I haven't done much research on his line, as he is not really into it.
We did his DNA because his grandfather disappeared from a train while traveling with his mother and family when she was a child. The two theories were that he jumped off and ran off with another woman, or that he was robbed and thrown off the train. We wanted to see if he had any matches that could have connected his grandfather to later children.
