Will made COUNTY OF AUGUSTA, VA 11 Aug 1856 and probated 17 Nov 1756 - gave his land to his brothers Samuel and William, but makes no provision for his mother’s support (which his brother Joseph wrote into his 1755 Will) his widowed mother probably died about 1756
WILL names wife - brother Thomas Paxton’s second son Samuel; - his own son Samuel some heir to remainder of estate - appoint my brother Thomas Paxton and James Trimble sole executors. Witnesses 11 Aug 1856 were James Moore, Archibald Alexander and John Moore
