After Margaret’s death he married Mrs. Eliza B Irvine a widow with several daughters
Married on homestead near Gettysburg; removed to Franklin Co. but when father gave him 100 acres adjoining his far near Gettysburg, Nathaniel returned. His sister Sarah along with David Hart in 1807 removed to Washington Co and convinced Nathaniel to move there. In 1812 he visited and removed there the next year. His widowed father did not want to be separated from his children so followed them there. Polly Hart McCulloch joined them and settled with Nathaniel on Pigeon Creek. No church facilities there so in 1828 he sold and removed to West Middletown in Washington Co. Being enthusiastic Calvinists, Nathaniel was a ruling elder of church and travelled as far as Chillicothe, OH
In 1839 Nathaniel visited Ashland Co OH and purchased land which still belongs to his descendants. In 1843 he planned to move to Ashland Co but died in Washington Co before he was able to do so
Will recorded in Washington Co and names widow Eliza B and his children Andrew, H Paxton, James G, Sarah E and Margaret.
