Eva came with her parents and 3 brothers and 2 sisters to America from Wurtemberg, Germany when she was 3 years old. Six days before she turned 16 Eva gave birth to a daughter, who she named Ella. She raised her by herself and Ella married Christian Kemerly and from there is where the Evers line comes down through. Eva married George Saltzgaber he was born in Ohio in 1843 and died in 1888. After his death she kept house for his older brother William Jonathon Saltzgaber and then in about 1893 she and Jonathon, born in 1828, were married. They lived in Wright Township, Hillsdale. Michigan. I do not know when Jonathon died or where he is buried but George and Eva are buried at Waldron Cemetery, Waldron, Hillsdale County, Michigan.
Eva's great grandson Alva Ray Evers is buried on top of her. Alva was the son of Ella's only daughter, Esther Kemerly who married Arthur Evers.
