Moses Spear, born 24 Dec 1757, son of Moses and Submit, was a Private in Captain Harmon's Company 8 of Wolcott Regiment in the Revolutionary War. He died 21 Dec 1824 at West Suffield and is buried in Zion Hill Cemetery in Suffield.
WILL of Suffield, County of Hartford, CT on 18 Oct 1821 - names Polly Taylor, Elihus Taylor and Maria Taylor the children of his daughter PENELOPE TAYLOR deceased; my daughter POLLY; all the rest of property to his son MOSES SPEAR; cites wife RUTH SPEAR; Moses is the executor. PROBATE 6 Jan 1825.
