Enid Hartley, 84, of Salem died Wednesday.
She was born in Wallowa County and graduated from Walla Walla College in 1936. She was a junior high school and special education teacher. She was a member of the East Salem Seventh-day Adventist church and Girls' Night Out Club. She enjoyed growing roses and gardening.
Survivors include her husband Harold; daughters, Virginia Karst and Enid Baltz, both of Salem; sister, Ruth LaFountaine of Havre, Mont.; and three grandchildren.
