Samuel C Campbell Was the son of Alexander and Margaret (Johnston) Campbell of Antrim County Ireland.Records show they had four sons: James, born in 1794, Samuel, born in 1794, Alexander, born in June, 1806, and Andrew, born in March, 1810. He married Margaret Johnston. Both Samuel and Margaret were members of the United Presbyterian Church and they are buried in the church cemetery there. Samuel and Margaret had four known children: William, Samuel Jr., Mary, and James. (Samuel Jr. married Jane Craig, a niece of James Campbell's wife, Margaret Craig.)
