Leon Delon Bragg, son of Deputy Sheriff W. A. Bragg who was with his father on Dec 24th and assisted in rescuing Mrs. Grace V Anderson and her son, John after both had been severely wounded by Peter McLarney, was married to Mrs Anderson at Smithport PA last Friday (1 May), it was announced today. They were attended by Drl and Mrs E. W. Lee of this village.
Peter McLarney, after killing his divorced wife, Dorothy Anderson McLarney, at the home of William Atchison on Main Street, hurried to the Anderson home where he drove Mrs Anderson and John into the bath room, locked the door and shot each three times. The two Braggs were called and rushed to the scene. Being unable to force either door into the bathroam by sheer strength, the younger Bragg picked up a vacuum cleaner, knocked In the panels., saved the lives of Mrs Anderson and her son, and found McLarney dying by a shot from his own revolvcr.
