CONSIDERED THE PENNSYLVANIA PAXTONS as they remained in Lancaster and York Counties PA while cousins removed south to VA, the South River and North River Paxtons
Son of James and younger brother os Samuel, born in Ireland near the close of 17th center, died in York Co PA
Took up lands in what is now Adams Co PA 28 July 1743. Probably came with the others as early as 1725. Little is known of him. Conjecture is the frequent use of the name Nathaniel suggests that the father of James and grandfather of this Nathaniel was a Nathaniel
1844 Nathaniel took up small tracts of land 28 Jul 1743 and remained in PA and died mar 1781, leaving a wife Hannah and children, besides others, not named in the will
Children named in Will were Nathaniel, John, Andrew and Samuel
