May also have had a JOHN who came over in 1735, if Augusta Co VA, died 1787. Wife Polly Blair who died in ca 1810. Two brothers Thomas and William.
Born Central England, part of army of Cromwell, after restoration he and family fled to Ireland and settled in Ballymoney, County Antrim.
Hugh Paxton was probably a brother and in 1674 fled to Maryland and may have been the father of John of Lancaster Co PA. Hugh’s will dated 1709 and only son was named John.
If born about 1640 he would be 80 in 1720, about the time his children are found in PA
Thomas, son of Samuel or maybe a brother was taxed in Chester Co. PA in 1722. And the other Thomas (son of Nathaniel) came with his parents to America in 1725.
After James’ death his sons came to America. Hugh, their uncle, had died in Maryland in 1709 and John his only son, preferring Quaker to Catholic domination, probably moved to Lancaster Co. PA.
