At the time there were three John Paxtons in the township and in 1755 one was elected constable.
Will of the elder John Paxton seems to indicate in 1768, the elder parents were living with their son.184
Will of Bart Two, probated 2 Aug 1769, cites wife, son John and for widow to live with him in her lifetime. After her death her gods go to my son, John and his heirs.” Executors John Paxton and Joseph Miller. 184
